Easy Tomato Salsa Recipe
Ingredients:
3 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 shallot, peeled and minced
2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced (leave seeds in if you prefer more heat)
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Optional: a handful of chopped cilantro for freshness
Instructions:
1. Place the diced tomatoes, minced shallot, garlic and jalapeño in a mixing bowl.
2. Squeeze the lime over the mixture and season with salt and pepper. Add chopped cilantro if using.
3. Gently toss until ingredients are well combined. Let the salsa rest for 10–15 minutes if possible to allow the flavors to meld.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning, then serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
