Churchill Soapstone Farmhouse Sink: Durable Stylish Kitchen Basin

Yesterday the plumber finished connecting the kitchen plumbing, so we finally have running water again — and a new faucet and dishwasher to go with it. It feels like a real milestone for the remodel.

If only the AGA were in place, the kitchen would be completely finished. Still, having running water is a big win and worth celebrating.

By the time this project is done I think the kitchen will have a distinct British, bespoke feel — exactly the look I wanted to achieve. The materials and fittings are coming together beautifully.

A sink full of dirty dishes feels like a sign of a kitchen well used. I spent the whole afternoon baking yesterday, and I’m planning to do the same today — there’s something comforting about cooking at home when the space finally feels functional.

Home-cooked food has never tasted better.

Have a wonderful day,
