Choza de Margarita at EPCOT: Guide to Mexico Pavilion’s Signature Spot

Does anyone else have a go-to drink stop at Epcot? For me, it’s Choza de Margarita in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion.

This compact walk-up bar, tucked beside the pavilion’s pyramid, serves a wide range of margaritas plus a handful of beers and small snacks.

Whether you want a cold margarita or a quick snack, here’s everything to know before your next visit.

Location & Seating:

To find Choza de Margarita, enter the Mexico Pavilion from World Celebration (near Test Track) and look left. The stand sits between lush landscaping and the iconic pyramid, directly across from La Cantina de San Angel. You’ll spot the open-air walk-up bar under a traditional thatched roof.

Choza is set up for grab-and-go service, so there’s no seating at the counter. Nearby options include tables and chairs at La Cantina and a few tucked-away tables on either side of the pyramid. Those tucked tables don’t have chairs, but they’re shaded, quiet, and often overlooked.

If you prefer unconventional seating, many guests sit on the low stone wall that surrounds the pavilion or relax by the fountain inside the pyramid. Both spots offer a bit of shade and a pleasant view.

The Menu:

Choza de Margarita offers a variety of margarita flavors—from blood orange to cucumber—available frozen or on the rocks. The stand also carries a small selection of beers and a few snack items such as tacos and guacamole.

Prices typically range from about $12 to $18.50, which is in line with other Disney cocktails and park snacks.

Tip: When ordering a frozen margarita, the cashier may ask, “Is this cup okay?” That question is because a larger cup is offered for an extra charge (usually about $4). If you want more drink to sip while you walk, accept the upsize; otherwise decline if you prefer the standard portion.

This is a walk-up bar without a full kitchen, so allergy-friendly prepared foods are limited. For specific dietary accommodations or a fuller meal, consider La Cantina de San Angel or the San Angel Inn inside the pavilion.

What I Order:

I visit Choza de Margarita regularly and have several favorites I return to:

  • Classic Lime Margarita: A balanced, refreshing choice—neither overly sweet nor too tart.
  • Cucumber ($18): Made with Tromba blanco tequila, fresh cucumber and lime, orange liqueur, Abasolo corn whiskey, agave, rhubarb bitters, and a Tajín rim. Served on the rocks in a large cup. It’s light and refreshing with pronounced cucumber and lime notes, though it can be ice-heavy.
  • Mango Loco ($18.50): A frozen favorite—fruity mango flavor that isn’t overly sweet and has just enough kick. Smooth and easy to sip while exploring the park.

Personally, the large frozen margaritas feel like the best value because they last longer as you walk the park. Right now, the Mango Loco is my go-to.

Know Before You Go:

  • Crowd Levels: Lines can range from no wait to 30+ people. Cast members move orders quickly; wait times rarely exceed 10 minutes.
  • Ordering Method: Walk-up only; mobile ordering is not available.
  • Accessibility: The area is generally flat, but the roped queue can be awkward for strollers or wheelchairs—ask a cast member for assistance if needed.

  • Dining Plan & Discounts: Not accepted at this location.

If you love margaritas, Choza de Margarita is one of the best spots in Epcot for a quick adult beverage—especially on a hot Florida afternoon.
